I made them change to a larger plane!

by BBBlogger on October 9, 2008

Tina, Tina, Tina,

You can believe what you want but there is NO WAY they changed the plane on your request.  LOL!  Bottom line is that either the plane they were going to use was having issues and the needed to change planes or something else came up and they decided to switch.  I can honestly say it was not BECAUSE OF YOU!

…but believe what you want.

As we get into week 2 I am enjoying the personalities on this season of the race.  From the Southern Belles southern charm and giggling when the guy mooned them in the dune buggy to when Nick (who I think is up for the best Reality TV Villian after this week) would basically ask others for help then if they could not just walk away from them.  (WOW….some nerve!)

The biggest thing that is bugging me is my girls are not playing very smart.  When will the racers learn to READ THE CLUE!  Ironically, Kelly and Christy did just that yet still were able to mess up two times to finish in 8th place.  With game play like that, they will not last long.  (keep digging….we have to find a container!)

Another thing I love about teams is when they have a tough time figuring out they made a mistake.  When Sarah and Terence finished Ship It first and went the wrong way to find the taxi cabs. (ironically they were just up a hill by a sign that said “Taxi Parking”)  You need to react quicker.  Once a team passes you in a different taxi, they need to figure out they missed something.  I thought it was very nice of Dallas and Toni to stop and help them out.  Hope that works out for them again soon.

I am impressed with Tina and Ken.  They are playing  a very strong game.  2nd the first week and this week coming in 1st and winnning two off road vehicles.  Fun stuff!  The advertisement for next week shows Ken getting his wrestling moves on.  Should be a fun show.

However, for Stephanie and Anthony the dating couple, the just did not find their mojo and came in to the matt in last place.  I know Anthony struggled with the Spanish words but so did a lot of people.  He needed to “Just Do It” and rattle them all off.  Guess that was his downfall in the end.

So what did you think?  Who do you like?  Who is running the best race?  Who will drop back and who will move up in the race around the world?  Your guess is as good as mine…comment below and let the world know what you think.

Peace,  Phil Keoghan – Amazing Race Blogger

I know how interesting a blog for “The Amazing Race” can be but truthfully, since it isn’t a live show, it just won’t have the same type of wow factor as Big Brother. With Big Brother, you want to be in the know 24/7 and if you can’t, you want a spot where you can find info. The Amazing Race is just like any other TV show and doesn’t exactly have the whole need for a “blog”. Sorry but I think you’re going to have to give up this plan of a blog as there isn’t enough interest.
