The episode is titled; “My Nose Is On Fire.”
The six remaining teams take off from their pit stop at the Baha’i House and recieve a clue instructing them to go to Deshbandhu Apartments. Once their, they encountered a Roadblock. This was a very colourful one nut frustrated some teams really badly, and even those members who were not doing the Roadblock. The quetion of this Roadblock was “Who’s ready for a colourful experience?” One member of each team had to take part in the ritual called the Holi festival. They had to travel through a bunch of people shooting and throwing various colours at them while attempting to find The Amazing Race clue from a bunch of Try Again clues!
Starr, Dallas, Kelly, Terence, Dan and Ken completed the Roadblock for their respective teams.
Note: During this Roadblock, Kelly almost broke down. She was covered in colors and had to go back and forth 5 times. She did not know what to do at first. She and Christy were having a real tough time.
Once finishing the Roadblock, teams then had to travel into Old Delhi and find the Charity Birds Hospital and search through cages of birds for their next clue. All teams found it easily.
Once finding the clue, teams were presented with a detour.
Note: At the hospital, Ken & Tina were given their Speed Bump which is a task that only they had to perform. They had to perform it because they were spared elimination in the last leg. They had to serve holy water to the Sikhs before receiving their next clue.
The detour was a choice between two tasks, Bleary Eyed or Teary Eyed. In Bleary Eyed, teams had to travel to a marked post at a street corner and then help the Department of Power by taking down a list of numbers on tags attached to power lines and then deliver them to a man who would give them a clue if their list was correct. They then had to travel to a nearby shop and plug in a Ganesha to receive their next clue. The task was not physically demanding, but the numbers the teams were searching for were small, so they could easily be distracted by other numbers on area signs. In Teary Eyed, teams had to travel to a spice market and pick up two 40 pound bags of chilies from a stall. They then had to deliver them on foot a quarter of a mile and use a mortar and pestle to make chili powder.
Teary Eyed was completed by Terence and Sarah while all the other teams did Bleary Eyed.
Andrew & Dan and Kelly & Christy really struggled with this task. They were looking at the wrong numbers throughout and that allowed Ken & Tina to overtake them with ease. On their way to the Pit Stop, Ken & Tina, stopped to help Andrew & Dan and that helped them get ahead of Kelly & Christy who were the last team.
At the Pit Stop, Nick & Starr, once again came in first place! In the end, Andrew & Dan beat out Kelly & Christy who were eliminated.
The positions at the end of this leg were;
1. Nick and Starr (Prize: Five Night Trip for Two to Hawaii, Courtesy Travelocity)
2. Toni and Dallas
3. Terence and Sarah
4. Ken and Tina
5. Andrew and Dan
6. Kelly and Christy (ELIMINATED)
Quotes;
Terence: Who’s my girl?
Sarah: You are. No. I am. I am
So, did Kelly & Christy deserve to get eliminated? Was it finally their turn to be eliminated?
Do you think Ken & Tina have it in them to make the final 3?
How strong are Toni & Dallas looking at the moment?
