The cowboys are going to be giving us a wild ride. I am not really sure what made them think that converting their money to Brazilian currency would be ok to accept in Chile. Way too funny! Even with that keeping them from getting on one of the busses in Chile and late to the first Road Block….they ended the first leg strong in 2nd place.
Jeff and Jordan, who I am really hoping do well during the race ended up in first. I was impressed with Jordan doing the high wire and not letting other teams or nerves really stop her. I do think Jeff is going to need to keep her motivated to keep going and not give up. The Amazing Race is definately NOT Big Brother!
Over the years I know that people have missed so things but I do not remember seeing 2 penalties right off the bat. Lucky for both Brent and Kaite and Dan and Jordan it did not cost them much and might be a good reminder for them to keep their heads in the game and READ THE CLUES!
As far as teams that are rubbing me the wrong way…well….I just hope Brandy stops talking so much. LOL….she really was bugging me. Maybe I will change my opinion but after one episode…..she was on my last nerve. I think when she was done with the wires course, she was a little too much for me.
My favorite by far…the fact that Steve and Allie went into a house/apartment and painted a complete strangers house. Their RED matched! Too funny. I keep thinking about someone coming into my house and just painting away. TOO FUNNY! When Allie was asking the painter guy for a clue….he just stared at her blankly. It was funny.
Oh…and Louie and Michael painting over the graffiti. Nice guys…nice cops…but the color did not match. Way too funny. It was a great challenge in my book.

the amazing race was a really good beginning, I hope Jeff and Jordan are able to hang in there.

The painter inside the house was funny too. After Steve & Allie finished painting. He said “That is ugly.” “They don’t know how to paint.”
And when Allie asked him for a clue. He was looking like, WTF is this yellow piece of paper.
I cant believe Jeff and Jordon came in first, because of Jeff I guess if it was up to Jordon they would be in China. I like the straight/gay brothers so far and the cowboys.
Jeff & Jordon did really well together! Hopefully, they will continue to work together and not fight! Liked the Cowboys & the Father daughter painting the inside of the house!
Is it just me, or does it REALLY bug other people that our educational system in the U.S. is so terrible. Mistaking Chile for China…not knowing Brazilian money has no meaning in Chile…these are simple, common sense things. Anyhow…I certainly hope that TAR producers need search long and hard to find racers that are this clueless. That’s my hope. But, it also makes for entertaining tv. Unlike BBBlogger, I thought Brandy was pretty funny. It may get old in an episode or two, we’ll see. I’m actually cheering on the Mompreneurs. Thanks for the blog.

I’m with you DonnaP…I like the straight/gay brothers too but you know I have to root for Jeff and Jordan. You also have to applaud the grandmother (71 yrs. old) for even thinking about trying out for Amazing Race. We should all be that active at her age. I hope they make it far in the competion.
So far I don’t care for Carol and Brandy. Just a little of them is too much.

Hooray, for Jeff and Jordan making it to team number one.
I predict another Barbi and Ken (Brent and Caite) first to the finish line at the end of the race. Granted, Caite drifted off the subject when asked why so many Americans could not locate the United States on a map, but Jordan of the J&J team makes Caite seem like a Rhodes Scholar by comparison.
It will be worth watching when the J&J team get their first wrong answer to get the next clue just to hear Jordan say “Shut Up” again.
Finally got to see AR… Like all the teams this time around. Have to agree that painting the wrong house was the best. Felt so sorry for Adrian. Very impressed with Jeff’s personality so far… and Jordan is to funny for words. Could you imagine Jordan and Caite on the same team?

Hi guys, I thought it was a good show ,I was sorry too see grandma and granddaughter gone home ,I liked them, your rightJt, the lesbians are annoying ,it seems next week they are fighting, lets just say they dont have great personalities, so far everyone else seems ok, its good too see Jordan and jeff still in the race, i hope they are not too nice ,some people might take advantage of that.

I still favor Brent and Caite (the new Barbi and Ken) to come across the finish line first. Some advice to B&C before the next leg, however: Should the cowboys ever ask for assistance at any time anywhere during the remainder of the race, hand them your next empty clue envelope and tell the to flip a coin to see who gets to stick it up their ass sideways…

known jet and cord for a while now from the rodeo world and I assure you they are both extremely strong competitors. besides that, there just genuine good guys. catch some PBR on versus and you will see what I mean. You won’t believe this JT… My list is almost exactly the same as yours. I would put Brent and Caite as #5 and Louie and Michael as #6. I do not want to appear homophobic, but The Lesbians are not nice women and the 1/2 gay team are really annoying. The Cops are incredibly stupid and unfortunately stereotyped. I thought they would be funnier and classier, much like the Globetrotters (who are back with the team, they were in Seattle recently). If I hear “OH MY GRAVEY” or “JUST BECAUSE I WEAR A COWBOY HAT…”one more time I am going to scream! But I do like The Cowboys and wouldn’t mind seeing them win. They are one of the highlights of the show. Steve & Allie… Class Act so far. Joe & Heidi… he’s not as annoying or abusive as I thought he would be… so far. And what can I say about Our BB Sweetheart & Mr. Cool… let’s root them back into first place!!! Did you see the look Jordan shot Jeff when he made the crack about not reproducing??? Priceless!
I was sorry to see the Moms go so soon, but didn’t expect them to last long. They were nice women.
Now I must say… it is distressing that this blog is as neglected as Survivor Samoa blog. Not having the RED X’s put on in a timely manner is a disgrace. The Header is the same as it was 2 weeks ago. I think there should be a timely maintenance for the site to grow.

I am 2 shows behind now (since Sunday nights are difficult for me to get any TV watching done)
