Episode 2
As always the teams were jockeying and trying to align with other teams (which in my opinion never ever works) but they still try. Usually it ends up with teams hating other teams.
As you all know the great bus shuffle caused a lot of stress. And our favorites, Jeff and Jordan were stuck missing all buses along with Brent Caite. As usual, very clever editing since they ended up being there in 5 and 6th place.
The detour is llama vs. condor. I think the llama one was the easier of the 2 but the condor thing would have been fun. Sing with me….FLY LIKE AN EAGLE…so it was entertaining to say the least.
The front of the pack was a lot of the stronger teams but the back of the pack had the usual amount of lost drivers, people who kept saying they had not seen any other teams lately, and people who cannot drive. I love the fact that the brothers (Dan & Jordan) had to push their car backwards instead of using reverse….too funny!
I am starting to really get impressed by the cowboys. Milk….straight from the cow! LOL I loved it when the cowboy said “This isn’t the first cow I have milked.” Good stuff. Bottom line….the cowboys made this task look easy.
Meanwhile, while all of this was happening, Grandma was just enjoying and soaking it all in. The cops were the second to get lost…and miss a sign. But ended up being ok since Grandma was moving a little too slow this leg and was the last team to arrive at the pit stop.
So after episode #2…the standings were…
1 – Jet and Cord (who each won a sailboat)
2 – Joe and Heidi
3 – Carol and Brandy
4 – Brent and Caite
5 – Monique and Shawne
6 – Jeff and Jordan
7 – Steve and Allie
8 – Dan and Jordan
9 – Louie and Michael
ELIMINATED 10 – Jody and Shannon
Then on to episode #3…
Episode #3
More buses and even a trip for Caite and Brent to the ER. After getting some rest and fluids they were lucky to have really not lost any ground in the race.
After a high stakes game of 5-card stud they all went to do some steer roping. Nothing like your favorite Goucho festival. The cowboys were able to rope the steer on the 2nd try (i am disapointed it took them 2 times) but others struggled with this task. Brent also did it on the 2nd time just like the cowboys but Shawne needed some divine intervention to get the roping task completed! 
It was fun watching that roadblock!
The race started to get on a few people….and emotions were starting to show early on.
Once at the detour. (Horse Sense or Horse Power) They even do polo or find buried treasure using an old compass. I think the polo one is the easier of the 2 but again…it would be fun to search for burried treasure!
The polo part of the challenge was difficult for the brothers. Having to go back a few times. I do like the fact that they did not give up and the third time was the charm! The moms just could not keep moving that horse and went to the Horse Sense challenge. The finished that one and ended up coming in last and being eliminated. So here are the standings after the 3rd leg…

So tonight it is on again…..down to 8 teams and lots of drama. The cowboys have surprised me as a strong team and Jeff and Jordan have dropped back to the middle of the pack.

I didn’t like crossing the teams like that. You could be in first by a half hour.. and have to wait for another team to complete the challenge… No good

Don’t exactly remember PK… but wasn’t that when the cops chowed the sauerkraut and the cowboys went to play soccer? The cops made real short work of that plate!!

I was worried for sure when Jeff & Jordan came in last. BUT it was a non-elimination round. Rather questionable really. But they do have these non-elimination rounds so MAYBE J & J got lucky?? I tend to think that it is a bit rigged (like all “reality” shows)because J & J are pulling in the ratings this year. How COULD they eliminate them so early & not lose viewers?? However, screw it, I just hope they win.
So far I like the cops, the cowboys, and jeff and jordan, Anybody else i dont really care if their gone or not, as far as im concerned any of those people I would be ok with them winning.ok an excuse, too use a Smiley again.
I love Amazing Race but this season is my favorite because I really like Jeff and Jordan. I hope they win!!!!

Glad J&J are still in it. They really do worry me though at how they get to where they are. LMAO I felt bad for the couple that got U-Turned by the cops. (ain’t that just like a po po)

i actually thought this amazing race was pretty cool, that combat thing i really enjoyed,my faves are the detectives louie and michael, cowboys ,jet and cord, and jeff and jordan, so far jeff and jordan have lucked out they just made it i felt bad for joe and heidi, they were good people.
Louie and Michael #1 yet again it looks like they are the team too beat. steve and allie#2, Jet and cord the cowboys#3, Dan and jordan#4, Carol and brandy #5, Brent and caite #6, Jeff and Jordan #7, Last, Joe and heidi. Hopefully jeff and jordan will hang in there they just made it today, i dont see them making it too the end though, if jeff had a stronger partner it might be different, they wont be able to be louie and michael those guys are two badassses
I sure hope JJ don’t leave Sunday. They really gotta step it up now! They got saved by non-elimination and a u-turn…. can’t rely on stuff like that any more. Just have to stay out of last place and try to work their way back in it.
Maybe CBS decided to make this a week where they bunch all the teams back together to catch a plane or train or something… we’ll find out Sunday. I know CBS wants to keep them in there as long as they can.
sorry to see JAND J leave but they were stupid for doing the glasses, jeff breaks them right away, im surprised dan and jordan are doing as well as they are, louie and michael #1 again i really like those guys they are the team to beat.
What is up with Catie? Did she attend school at all? Joan D’arch, she has no idea who she is??????? I’m not a feminist, but hell she put women on the map!
It’s not going to be the same without Jeff and Jordan but I guess the show must go on. Looking forward to tonights episode. I had been concentrating so much on J and J I’ll have to see who I want to cheer on now.
Yeah… my #1 team is gone, but The Show Must Go On Here is my order that I am rooting for.
1) The Cops – didn’t really like them at the very beginning, but how couldn’t I root for the now?
2) Steve & ALLIE!- Just really nice people.
3) The Cowboys – in a virtual tie as my 2nd choice… but I had to make a decision.
4) Dan & (Jor)Dan – ehhhh… nuf said.
5) Carol & Brandy – Really tired of their whining, they would have been last on my list but at least they provide some entertainment.
6) CAITE!! (& BF) – They gotta go!
Caite is such a whiner and adds no entertainment for me. Loved it last week when she was so busy bitching that she walked right by the grapes they were looking for! 
I was so bummed to see Steve and Allie go, I thought they had a shot at winning.
